Joshua and Jessica Carloni are very passionate about the outdoors and both work full-time jobs in environmental conservation. They decided to start a part-time oyster farm for a number of reasons, but one of the main reasons was the allure of working on the water and gaining a better connection to the natural environment. Since starting this business in 2014, they have grown to love their time on the farm as it provides an escape from modern day technology. They have also gained a better sense of community by working with other local farmers and chefs at restaurants in Portsmouth and other local towns where their oysters are featured. Both of them feel very strongly about the eat local food movement and are proud that all of their oysters are sold within New England.
